All Systems Broadband manufactures a complete line of Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) and 10Gig Small Form Factor Pluggable (XFP) to meet the varying needs of telecommunications and data networks. Hot-pluggable, these devices function as a transmitter and receiver (transceiver), allowing network operators to install the optics (or copper interface) that is most appropriate to a specific application.

ASB Copper SFP Transceivers are high performance, cost effective modules compliant with the Gigabit Ethernet and 1000 BASE-T standards as specified by the IEEE and support 1000 Mbps up to 100 meters reach over unshielded twisted-pair category 5 cable.

ASB Transceivers are built as specified by the industry standard Multi-Source Agreement. Our devices are designed to work directly with the equipment of a variety of telecom and data OEMs, providing a cost effective and flexible solution to the dynamic needs of a service provider’s network.

Many of All Systems Broadband SFPs and XFPs are available with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM). This feature provides the network operator the ability to monitor real-time parameters of the device, such as optical output/input power, temperature, laser bias current, transceiver supply voltage and other vital information.
